# Image to Gaussian Splat

Generate a 3D Gaussian Splat (.splat) from a single image. Gaussian Splatting is a modern 3D representation well-suited for high-quality real-time rendering and photorealistic scene reconstruction. The output .splat file can be loaded by mainstream Gaussian Splat viewers and renderers. Choose this endpoint for real-time rendering or photorealistic capture; use Image to 3D Model when you need a mesh, textures, or an editable asset. Fixed cost: 30 credits per generation. Typical generation time is around 4 minutes.

## Request Parameters

### input

- **Type:** string
- **Required:** Required

Source image for Gaussian Splat generation. Accepts the following input types:**Choose exactly one** of the following — do not pass multiple types simultaneously.

- file_token — Upload an image via the File Upload API first, then pass the returned token.
Example: `file_abc123`
- URL — A publicly accessible direct link to an image.
Example: `https://example.com/photo.png`



- Supported formats: `PNG`, `JPEG`, `WebP`
- Max file size: **20 MB**
- Recommended resolution: at least **256 × 256 px**. Subject should be clearly visible with a clean background and minimal occlusion.

### model_seed

- **Type:** integer
- **Required:** Optional

Random seed for Gaussian Splat generation. Using the same seed with the same input produces an identical .splat result. If not set, a random seed is used each time.
