Description

In A gift for gene, you play an interstellar pioneer settling a strange planet, building and growing your own colony. Capture pets, fight alongside them, and breed pets that are yours alone, making your base feel more alive.

The gift is for every player, so that everyone can have a one-of-a-kind pet. The game was made in Godot, with Tripo used across the art pipeline, from style tests, modeling and textures to character rigging and animation.

How Tripo was used

Tripo runs through the game's art pipeline.

  • Style and shape tests: generating images to test the art style and quickly check model shapes.
  • Modeling and textures: building models from images, then generating their textures.
  • Character rigging and animation: AI rigging for the characters, and AI-generated animations.
