Description

LEAF is a journey through the four seasons, seen through the life of a single leaf. Carried by the wind, you drift and fly through spring forests, summer rivers, golden autumn fields and quiet winter snow, meeting flowers, frogs, sheep and birds and helping them complete small stories that belong to each season.

A gift for childhood, LEAF is a gentle story about nature, growth, farewell and beginning again, and an invitation to rediscover a little sense of wonder and freedom on a quiet journey.

The game was made in Godot. The author used Tripo to turn some of the concept art into 3D assets, animated and organized them in Blender, then brought them into Godot for interaction and scene assembly, with Codex also used in development. Some plant assets come from Quaternius's stylized nature pack, and the audio comes from Pixabay.

How Tripo was used

Tripo was mainly used to quickly turn some of the concept art into usable 3D game assets, such as animals, plants and environment objects, which were then animated and organized in Blender and brought into Godot for interaction and scene assembly. In the author's words, it greatly shortened the path from visual concept to working asset, and became an important link in a workflow spanning Codex, Blender and Godot.
