Try it live Description
MEMORY ALIVE is a memory gift you can step into. What it offers is not a prettier photograph but a chance to return: to a grandfather's workshop, a grandmother's kitchen, or a place once shared with someone important. It is made for the people whose memories we wish we could return to.
The sender starts with a photograph or a few fragments of memory about an old place, chooses the one object they most want to find again, and leaves a single sentence. World Labs reconstructs the place where the memory happened, while Tripo generates a real, standalone, interactive 3D memory object. The recipient opens the experience through a dedicated gift link, sees their own photograph or the reconstructed scene, enters the space, walks toward the object and interacts with it, and reads the sender's message. At the end, the surroundings gradually fade away, leaving only the keepsake and the memory. At its heart is a simple formula: one place, one person, one object, one sentence.
The current demo includes two stories, "Grandpa's Workshop and the Toy Train" and "Grandma's Kitchen and the Enamel Mug", both built on genuinely generated and archived worlds and GLB assets. To keep the experience reliable, each scene uses hand-calibrated entry points, limited walkable areas and object placement. Scenes rebuilt from written memories are clearly labeled "reconstructed from memory" and do not claim to be exact reproductions.
The team wants digital gifts to be more than something we look at: places we can personally reach. "I returned to that place, and I found the thing we remembered again." They are also extending it toward a physical gift. An offline export workflow prepares low-LOD versions of the worlds and objects for display on a Jupiter frame, taking the places and keepsakes beyond the browser. Asset preparation is complete; importing and displaying them on the device is still unverified, and live sync with desktop exploration is not implemented.
How Tripo was used
Tripo brings remembered objects to life as standalone 3D keepsakes: World Labs rebuilds the place, and Tripo creates the meaningful thing within it.
- The core of the story and interaction: finding the object and interacting with it reveals the personal message, and when the environment recedes, the keepsake remains. It connects spatial exploration with an emotional ending, rather than serving merely as a modeling tool.
- In the demo: the toy train and the enamel mug are genuinely generated GLB assets, archived with their worlds.
