PBR Textured Model

Generate or regenerate PBR textures for an existing 3D model — pass it in as a task_id, an uploaded file or a URL, and guide the result with text, a single image or multi-view images. Texture v3.5 adds lighting control (delight), a Fast mode and tighter geometry alignment with more consistent results across views. v3.5 must be set explicitly: use model on the texture endpoint or texture_version on the generation endpoints; otherwise the default v3.0 is used. The upgrade applies to new tasks only — existing models and textures are unchanged.

  • Lighting control (delight, on by default): keep it on for realistic games — clean base color under Unity, Unreal or Godot lighting; turn it off for rendering, VFX and CG to preserve stylized lighting
  • Fast mode: texture_quality=fast, same credits as standard
  • Better geometry alignment: details land where they belong, with more consistent results across views
  • Guide with text, a style image, a single image or 2–4 views; PBR, per-part retexturing and 8K supported

Pricing

Pricing is based on the task type and specific parameters. Generating standard textures or using premium topology options incurs additional costs.

QualityCredits
Fast (fast)10
Standard (standard)10
HD (detailed)20
8K (extreme)30

fast requires texture v3.5-20260815; any other texture version returns error 1004 instead of falling back to standard

When texturing inside a generation task, textured output costs 10 credits more than geometry only; HD adds another 10 and 8K another 20

Parameters

model
Texture version on /v3/models/texture: v3.0-20250812 (default, for v3.0 / v3.1 models), v3.5-20260815 (newest; set explicitly) or v2.5-20250123 (for v2.5 models)
texture_version
Texture version on the generation endpoints; same values as model. If omitted it follows the geometry model (v2.5 → v2.5, otherwise v3.0)
texture_quality
fast (v3.5 only, same size and credits as standard), standard (default), detailed (HD) or extreme (8K)
delight
Remove baked-in lighting from the reference image (default: true). Keep on for realistic games, turn off for rendering / CG to preserve stylized lighting; v3.5 only, older versions ignore it
texture_prompt
Texture guidance: text (optionally with style_image), image, or images (front required, at least 2 views; view-key objects recommended, or 4 positional slots [front, left, back, right] with null for missing views). text / image / images are mutually exclusive
texture_alignment
original_image (default, match the input image colors) or geometry (match the generated geometry)
texture_seed
Random seed; the same seed reproduces the same texture
pbr
Generate PBR materials (default: true)
part_names
Part names from a mesh segmentation task; omit to texture all parts
bake
Bake advanced material effects into base textures for compatibility (default: true)
compress
geometry — meshopt compression for a smaller file

Rate limits

Rate limits ensure fair and reliable access to the API by placing specific caps on parallel requests. Your usage tier determines how high these limits are set.

Snapshots

Snapshots let you lock in a specific version of the model so that performance and behavior remain consistent.

v3.5-20260815Newest: lighting control and Fast mode; set explicitly
v3.0-20250812Default; for models generated with v3.0 / v3.1
v2.5-20250123For models generated with v2.5
