A Gift for Music is a VR music game where you choose and upload the music you love, then step inside it to play, made as a gift for everyone who loves or makes music.
Upload an MP3 and the game reads the track and builds a level from its melody. In each music level you strike to the beat of the melody to score points; the game records scores and rankings, and holding the top spot is no easy task. A special mode adds items and skills for more variety, the team's tentative experiment in reinventing the traditional rhythm game.
Traditional rhythm games are mostly played on a flat screen, which the team sees as limiting. PICO brings the flat game into three dimensions, keeping the rhythm and tension of a classic rhythm game while putting players right inside it. The game was developed in Unreal Engine, with models made in Maya and Blender, and every gift asset was generated with Tripo.

Tripo-generated models are a key part of the whole scene: every gift asset was generated with Tripo in one click, cutting production time while raising the overall art quality.
