Chair 3D Modeling

A 3D model of a chair, made as a gift for a friend: Tripo generated the base geometry, and the author refined it through precision modeling, PBR texturing and rendering into an asset ready for interiors, games and product visuals.

Description

Chair 3D Modeling is a 3D model of a chair, made as a gift for a friend and summed up in one line: "Design you can sit on." With clean lines, a sculpted seat and realistic proportions, it suits living rooms, offices, cafés and other interiors, as well as architectural visualization.

The model has clean topology and tidy UV mapping for easy texturing, and its PBR materials work in both real-time engines and photorealistic renders. It is optimized for performance while keeping its detail, and works in Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Unreal Engine and Unity, for interiors, games or product visuals.

As the author sees it, chair models are easy to find, but many come with heavy meshes, inconsistent topology or basic textures that need cleanup before use, and making one usually means separate steps for concept, modeling, texturing and rendering, with manual handoffs in between. This project links them into one pipeline: AI-assisted concept generation feeds straight into precision modeling, then PBR texturing and real-time rendering, producing a clean, optimized, ready-to-use chair faster and with less rework.

How Tripo was used

Tripo was the starting point of this chair and the core of the project.

  • Base geometry: the author used Tripo to generate the chair's base geometry instead of spending hours blocking out forms from scratch, taking it from a loose idea to a usable 3D asset in a fraction of the time traditional modeling would take.
  • A foundation, not a finished product: the author treated the output as a strong base to refine, a decision that shaped every step that followed and kept the focus on design quality rather than repetitive setup work.
