Description

Mind Patch is a first-person simulation game about an apothecary who crafts remedies to heal wounded hearts, made as a gift for anyone seeking comfort and emotional healing.

A reclusive apothecary spends their days crafting remedies for those who come seeking help. But some customers are more than strangers: they are people from a past the apothecary has tried to forget. By listening to their stories and healing their wounds, the apothecary slowly begins to confront their own. Sometimes, healing others is the first step toward healing yourself.

The game is built around a complete medicine-making loop: harvesting, processing, mixing, sealing and delivering. Characters, medicinal plants and crafting equipment are all interactive 3D models with a consistent low-poly look.

It was made in Unity, with ChatGPT and Codex helping with 2D concept images, planning, dialogue, scripting and Unity integration; the interaction and shutter sound effects were synthesized procedurally for the project.

How Tripo was used

Tripo was the core asset-production tool for Mind Patch.

  • Image-to-3D: the author turned AI-generated 2D concepts into 3D characters, medicinal plants and crafting equipment with Tripo image-to-3D; both the models and their textures come from Tripo.
  • Into the game: the models were integrated into Unity with Codex-assisted scripting and became interactive parts of a complete loop of harvesting, processing, mixing, sealing and delivering medicine.
  • One visual direction: the workflow connected concept art, image-to-3D generation and playable storytelling while keeping a consistent low-poly look.
