Description

Oneiro turns a dream into a place you can walk into, and give to someone. Speak or type last night's dream, and an LLM reads it faithfully and picks out the 3–5 concrete things the dream actually contained. Tripo text-to-3D generates each one as a real 3D object, and Oneiro places them at true scale in a first-person world: a warm, near-black void, ground fading into fog, the objects standing where the dream put them.

Then the dream happens. Each one plays as a short vignette inspired by Kurosawa's Dreams and LSD: Dream Emulator. A title card reads "I had a dream like this," a presence emerges from the fog and follows you, and you explore freely: drag to look, hold to walk, touch things. When you choose to wake, there is a climax, a hard cut to black, and the morning note, with your dream written back into your journal.

It is a gift for whoever was in the dream. Dreams are the most private thing we have and the hardest to share; "I dreamt about you" usually dies as a vague sentence. With Oneiro, you send them a link and they walk inside the dream you had about them: the giant fox that followed you, the house you both lived in, the place that doesn't exist.

Try the demo dream "Sal, Luz e Raposa": a salt desert has swallowed the city, a rusted lighthouse turns a red light with no sea, a bus-sized white fox follows you without a sound, a burned grand piano plays by itself, and a church bell floats a palm's width above the ground. Every object was generated by Tripo from that text in about 90 seconds.

Oneiro is built as a real product, with a dream journal, gift links, editable worlds and paid credit packs, and the first world is free. None of it existed before the hackathon: dream capture, the interpretation pipeline, Tripo generation, the first-person vignette, the journal, the editor and payments were all built during the event.

How Tripo was used

Tripo is Oneiro's core engine: every object in every dream is generated with Tripo API text-to-3D, with no stock assets.

  • From words to objects: an LLM extracts prompts faithfully from the dreamer's own words, and Tripo generates 3–5 objects per dream. The chain runs from speech to a Groq-hosted LLM to Tripo to a Three.js vignette, about 90 seconds per dream.
  • Objects as actors: each object is scaled by its footprint in the story (a 14 m lighthouse, a bus-sized fox, a 1 m piano), planted in the first-person world and cast in a role; the fox is the presence that follows you.
