Veya is a 3D UGC game where players explore and reshape worlds through AI. All in-game content, from NPCs and items to environments and entire worlds, is AI-driven and editable at runtime.
Create new places, change NPC behavior, introduce objects and design your own adventures while playing, then experience your changes directly in the game, so creation and exploration become one continuous experience. It is a gift for players and creators alike, and everything in it was made during the hackathon; background music and sound effects were generated with Stable Audio 3.
WASD moves, Shift runs, C crouches, F triggers the current interaction or confirms dialogue, E observes, Q inspects, the mouse wheel selects actions, Tab opens the travel handbook and H toggles the HUD.
The in-game creation service (the wishing altar, in closed beta) asks players to sign in with a Codex subscription or configure their own model provider and API key, plus a separate Tripo API key with a global or China account region. Generation runs on the player's own accounts.
How Tripo was used
Tripo is both the modeling tool behind this world and its creation engine at runtime.
- Models: characters, desks, fish, flowers and other models were generated with Tripo; every NPC character's model and rig came from Tripo, along with some of the animations.
- Real-time generation: most importantly, the game calls the Tripo API at runtime to generate props, NPCs and level assets.
