XENOASIS is a gift for aliens who come to Earth: the author's idea is that when aliens arrive, they need to get to know humans first.
It runs natively on the standalone PICO 4 Ultra at a locked 90 FPS, with no controllers. Bare-hand tracking lets you cradle water spheres, tune harmonic crystals and touch the portals that lead between worlds. Across four worlds you find monumental museum arches, a UFO bridge cockpit, ancient hominins and relics of civilization such as Prometheus' flame, the Rosetta Stone and the Voyager record. Color passthrough blends your real room into a cosmic sanctuary, haptics accompany each dive into a new world, and beyond the deep-space void, the bridge's panoramic viewports look out on high Earth orbit.
It was built in Unity (URP), and the 360° deep-space and orbital backdrops were generated with World Labs Marble.
How Tripo was used
Tripo generated every 3D asset in the experience.
- 30+ PBR models: generated through the Tripo API (v3.1) across the four worlds, including the museum arches, the UFO bridge cockpit, ancient hominins and relics such as Prometheus' flame, the Rosetta Stone and the Voyager record.
- Objects you can touch: rather than leaving them as static props, the author chained the models with custom rigging and proximity physics in Unity URP for tactile 6DoF hand interaction.
