Description

Drowned Halls is a first-person underwater survival horror game set in an abandoned bathhouse swallowed by a bottomless flood. Activate four valves, navigate connected pools and service corridors, and escape while creatures track your light and sound.

This world is a gift for anyone who feels lost, exhausted or stuck in a maze of their own. There is no combat power fantasy: you manage your breath, move carefully, stay quiet and learn the building one route at a time. Lifebuoy lamps mark checkpoints, so a mistake does not erase all your progress, and each return is another chance to find the way forward.

The game supports English and Simplified Chinese and has three difficulty levels. Easy shows a live escape map and monster positions; Normal offers directional guidance; Hard removes navigation and objective hints while keeping control prompts and danger feedback. Players choose how much help they want without changing the world itself.

An ordinary place of rest turns unfamiliar under black water. The gift is not an effortless escape. It is a small light, a route you can learn, and the reassurance that getting lost does not mean you cannot come back.

How Tripo was used

The creatures that hunt you through the flooded halls were generated with Tripo.

  • Six creature models: the Colossus and Leviathan bodies were made with Tripo image-to-3D, plus auto-rigged Crab, Angler, Whale and Leviathan variants with swim and walk clips.
  • Cleanup and integration: the author cleaned up and optimized the assets in Blender, then brought them into Three.js.
  • Division of labor: Tripo powered the creature assets, while custom code implements movement, AI, collisions and the full game.
