Description

Glimmers of Elsewhere is a small platform for cat-sized worlds, and its flagship is Little Grey on the Street: a stray cat's five-year life, told one small choice at a time. It is a gift for the cat in you.

You play Little Grey, a white cat the street has turned gray. Every event is seen from cat height: a fish stall, a goose by the river, a wire left on the ground, a winter that does not end. Your choices move real meters for health, dried fish, charm and friendliness. Each run plays 30 events drawn from a pool of 47, so no two lives on this street are the same, and it closes in one of six endings: the king of the alley, a door that finally opens, an old gray cat who simply stayed, or something colder.

The game is quiet, bittersweet and honest about what a real stray faces: plastic, poison, cold and people who are not kind. It is not a power fantasy. It is a way to live a real street cat's life for a few minutes, and to feel why that life deserves care.

Every ending also ends with an object. Each of the six endings hands you its own cat figurine as a downloadable GLB that you can spin in the game's 3D showroom and send to a 3D printer. The story ends and a keepsake begins: the game is the gift, and the figurine is how the story stays in your hands.

The platform also ships with a one-sentence creator that turns a single sentence into a playable world. It runs in the browser, in English and Chinese. Both projects are brand-new, made during the hackathon: all code, narratives, world content, artwork, music and 3D models were produced after the event began, with "life simulator" games (random events, meters, multiple endings) as a genre reference only. The original music was generated with Suno, the images with the image models nano banana and image2, and the in-game ending cinematics with the Seedance API from Volcano Engine; the photos of Dundun, the real cat in the adoption ending, were taken by the author.

How Tripo was used

Tripo P2 is the core of the keepsake system, and the step that carries this gift from the screen into your hands.

  • Six ending figurines: each ending comes with its own cat figurine, made by turning the author's artwork into a GLB with Tripo P2 image-to-3D.
  • In-game showroom: players spin the figurines in the game's 3D showroom or download the GLB files.
  • From digital to physical: each figurine can be opened in Tripo for 3D printing, so a browser story ends in something you can hold.
