High School Simulator: This Semester is a 3D campus exploration game you can play in your browser, made for anyone going through high school right now and for anyone who wants to look back at those days. The author invites players to see high school from a new angle: the courtyard you cross every day can be where you try passing a ball with friends; a practice you couldn't get right can start over with a different approach or with someone showing you how. Whether to wait for a late friend before the group photo, what the old photo by the big tree is hiding: these small things are worth a little time too.
The game condenses one semester into seven representative days. You can roam the campus freely, spend time with classmates, take your own photos and keep a journal of your own. There is only so much you can formally schedule each day, so you decide whom to meet and what to do; or you can set something aside for now and keep playing in the courtyard a little longer.
Through these choices you may slowly find out how you like to learn, who you feel at ease with, what deserves your full effort, and which expectations you can hold more lightly. Getting to know yourself sometimes starts with a single try or an honest reply.
