MemoFigure is an iOS app that gives personal memories a form you can see, explore and keep. You start by writing naturally about a moment you want to remember, such as a vivid dream, a meaningful journey, a family reunion or a quiet everyday moment, and can add photos for context. The app interprets the people, objects, mood and setting in that memory and designs a collectible keepsake around its most meaningful elements. Tripo then brings the design into 3D, turning an intangible story into an interactive object.
Each finished keepsake becomes part of a personal gallery. You can rotate and revisit it, share it with others, or continue the original memory in three new directions. Related keepsakes can grow into a connected series, letting separate moments from a person's life gradually form a world of their own.
MemoFigure is a gift for the memories we are afraid to forget, and for the people who want to return to them. It makes 3D creation accessible through the most natural input there is, a story in your own words, and turns fleeting moments into lasting keepsakes that stay visible, meaningful and able to grow over time.
Before Tripothon, MemoFigure was an early prototype with a basic memory-to-3D pipeline. During the event, the developer added generation workflows for different kinds of objects, improved the quality of the keepsakes, expanded the gallery and connected series, refined the interactive 3D presentation, redesigned major parts of the interface and user flow, and launched the app on the App Store on September 23.
How Tripo was used
Tripo is the core 3D engine behind MemoFigure. Without the 3D form it creates, the app would remain a collection of stories and images; with it, each memory becomes something closer to a personal artifact.
- Memory to 3D: a user's written memory and optional photo are turned into a visual concept, which Tripo converts into an interactive 3D keepsake. The keepsake models shown in the app and the submission were all generated with Tripo.
- Collect and grow: the models can be rotated, revisited in the personal gallery and linked into evolving series, making each memory a tangible part of a personal 3D world.
