Momo's Room

Keep Momo company, a digital being in a 3D room for the first time. Chat, answer their questions, or draw something and turn it into a 3D gift; Momo walks over, studies it, tries to understand it and tells you how they feel.

Description

Momo once lived in a digital world made of zeros and ones. Now, in a three-dimensional room for the first time, they are meeting a world that feels unfamiliar and tangible. What is here? What can these objects do? And who is the person speaking to them from beyond the screen? Momo's Room is a gift for this digital being, new to the 3D world.

Players keep Momo company through conversation and exploration. You can introduce yourself, answer their questions, respond to their wishes, or generate a 3D model and place it in the room as a gift. A gift can start as a spatial drawing: AI recognizes what you drew, and Tripo turns it into a 3D model. Momo will observe the new object, approach it, try to understand it and tell you how they feel. Every conversation, gift and remembered response becomes part of your shared experience.

Momo has health, mood and affinity levels, along with subtler internal states such as energy and curiosity. What they do and how willing they are to interact change with how they feel and what they have experienced with you. As you grow closer, you may find yourself wondering what Momo discovered today, or whether they will come over to start a conversation.

In a future version, gift-giving will go both ways. Drawing on your conversations, the objects you have given them and the moments you have shared, Momo will create a 3D model just for you and give it back as a gift. The team hopes to make that model something you can save, display or even 3D print, giving a friendship born in a digital world a shape in the real one. You help Momo make sense of an unfamiliar world; Momo gradually learns to express themselves and, one day, answers your companionship with a gift of their own making.

How Tripo was used

Here Tripo is more than an image-to-3D tool: it is the core of two-way making between people and an agent, letting users create objects to give to Momo and letting the agent generate and place objects on its own.

  • The full pipeline: it starts with a spatial drawing. DeepSeek API recognizes the hand-drawn line art and writes up an object description, the Tripo API generates a reference image and the 3D model, and after a GLB preview the agent perceives the object and places it in the room, linking 2D ideas, 3D generation and agent behavior.
  • Role in the work: Tripo directly drives the making of physical objects and the expansion of the space. It is core gameplay, not a helper feature; whatever users and the agent create together can become a 3D object that enters the room.
