Description

Gobby’s Portal is a fast-paced 3D action tower defense game built in Babylon.js. You play as Gobby, a scrappy goblin tasked with defending a magical portal core from relentless waves of shadow creatures.

Hands-On Combat
Unlike traditional tower defense games, you are in the arena. Move with WASD, throw rocks at enemies, dodge attacks, freeze groups with Frost Nova, and rally your towers with a battle cry. Your towers do the heavy lifting, but Gobby’s presence on the battlefield makes the difference.

Six Tower Types
Build Arrow, Frost, Cannon, Lightning, Poison, and Support Beacon towers. Each has 3 upgrade levels and unique synergies. Frost plus Cannon grants bonus damage on slowed enemies. Arrow clusters boost each other’s fire rate. Strategic placement matters, and towers can be destroyed by brute enemies.

Roguelike Upgrade Cards
After every wave, choose 1 of 3 random upgrade cards from a pool of 43. Stack common buffs like rock damage and tower fire rate, or gamble on epic wildcards like Blood Pact, which sacrifices core HP for massive tower damage, and Chaos Portal, where enemies speed up but drop far more shards. Every run plays differently.

Escalating Challenge
Survive 8 waves of runners and brutes, face a boss with ground-slam attacks that stun your towers, then push into endless mode where difficulty scales forever. Wave modifiers like Armored Tide, Shard Drought, and Portal Surge force constant adaptation.

Built for Desktop
Runs as a standalone Windows application with full keyboard and mouse controls.
